Career Assessment: You may be considering a new job, or a complete career change, for any number of reasons. Coaching will help you discover career options that are more aligned with your needs for the greatest possible fulfillment, while ensuring that your goal is a viable one in the marketplace. The career assessment process you will go through is ideal if you want more than "just a job".
Resume Writing: I leverage my recruiting background, and my experience with employers in numerous industries, to ensure you have a strong resume that helps you to stand out in the marketplace. Whether you are a new grad, individual contributor, or executive, a well-written resume can make the difference between being contacted for interviews or being passed over for seemingly better qualified candidates. Your resume will also be ATS (applicant tracking system) compatible, when many resume formats currently being used are not.
LinkedIn Critique & Rewrite: LinkedIn is the "go to" resource for today's recruiters and hiring managers. It is an important marketing tool for you to use at all times, especially during the job search process. Your profile will be critiqued to ensure it's effective and highlights your most important qualifications, and you will receive a written analysis, by section, of the changes that need to be made. You will also be given tips on how to most effectively present your profile during a job search.
An Effective Job Search During The Age of AI: Today's job market is very different than it was even a few years ago. In order to be successful, you need to understand the new dynamics of the job market, the steps that are involved with a targeted job search, how to prepare yourself for AI and how it’s changed the job search process, and how to connect with those who can potentially hire you. Learn how to use the job boards more strategically, how social media can benefit you (including which platforms are best and which ones you should avoid), and ways to increase your chances of being contacted by recruiters and hiring managers.
Interview Preparation (Mock Interview): As a recruiter, I have worked closely with hiring managers to interview individual contributors through executive level candidates, from initial job requisition through job offer. We will work together to help prepare you for each stage of the interview process, from the salary screen, to the hiring manager interview, to the team interview, through the executive level interview. You will learn how to answer a variety of questions from a position of strength, including those particularly difficult questions that people often face. Going through this process will increase your odds of continuing to move through each of the progressive stages in the interview process. Clients have had very positive results and have also greatly increase their confidence.
Offer Negotiation: Discover the steps involved in the Offer Negotiation process and how you can use them to your advantage. Know what to ask for, the importance of timing, and exactly what to say during each stage of the process to increase your chances for success.
